Frequently asked questions
Is there a commission per booking?
No. inkly charges no commission. You keep 100% of your earnings. The subscription is all you pay to use the platform.
How do payments between customers and studios work?
You collect the treatment price directly at the studio — cash, card, TWINT, however you handle it. inkly is not involved in that and takes no commission on it. One exception: if you require a deposit for an appointment, that runs through our payment provider Stripe and is settled with you. The same applies to platform gift cards.
Can I cancel the subscription anytime?
Yes — monthly subscriptions can be cancelled monthly, yearly ones at the end of the year. No hidden minimum terms.
What happens to my data after cancellation?
Export your data yourself before cancelling: under Settings → Data you get clients, appointments and revenue as CSV. After cancellation your studio is deactivated and no longer publicly visible. Your data is then deleted in line with our privacy policy, unless statutory retention periods apply.
Are customers and artists really free?
Yes — everything that matters: account, profile, portfolio, studio search, booking and chat cost customers and artists nothing. No fee, no commission. The only optional paid part is the AI tools beyond the 5 free generations per month — via credits or an AI subscription. If you do not use them, you pay nothing.
